Family
Family is the primary focus in our life and extends to the service we provide to the community. We (Caleb & Rosanna, along with our four young kids) have developed our lifestyle and home around caring for your dogs. We are personally involved on a daily basis in the care of your dog. We bring the members of our small team into our family, ensuring a positive and caring work environment. We strive for long term relationships and truly care for the families that we work with, many of whom we have provided care for over 15 years. We take personal responsibility to ensure we are fully supporting the families that are supporting us.
Integrity
We are fully committed to doing what is best for your dog. Achieving a loose-leash pack hike is more labor intensive and requires a higher level of awareness and training for both the humans and the dogs than a traditional daycare. Regardless of the higher level of effort required, we make the pack walk the central focus of our program because it is so essential to truly fulfilling your dog’s physical, mental and social needs.
We are committed to maintaining what we have worked so hard to build from the ground up over our 17 years of service to the community. We continue to offer the best quality, highest level of consistency and genuine care for our clients and their dogs. When the dogs are relaxed, calm and settled, after the hike or at the end of the day, we know we have fulfilled our commitment to providing the highest possible well-being for your dog. We work with dogs from many different backgrounds and home lives, and to see them balanced together as a pack is enormously satisfying.
Wholeness
Creating balance is a fundamental aspect of our program. The pack hike is loose-leash, with the dogs walking beside or behind the handler. This requires the dogs to stay focused and engaged. At the same time, they are able to relax mentally into a meditative mode. The dogs create a social bond while they migrate together. The walk takes place at the beginning of each session to fully integrate the dogs, resulting in safe, positive social interactions during playtime. The physical exercise of routine pack hikes in fresh air have numerous health benefits. The combined effect of stress reduction and exercise promote good behavior, and a long and healthy life for your dog.
Additionally, we consciously developed the day-to-day workflow for our team members to ensure they have a balanced day with both independence and support. The daily interaction with nature, fresh air and high level of physical activity promotes health and well-being for our team, as well as the dogs. Ensuring everyone is balanced makes for a positive environment that the dogs are very receptive to.
Connectedness
We genuinely connect with dogs by looking at the world through their perspective. We use an energy-based approach to provide calm leadership that dogs understand and trust. We consciously keep a small client base so we are able to form true relationships with every dog that we care for. Caleb and Rosanna are in direct communication with every client. The day-to-day consistency of the packs allows for the dogs to form a true bond with their pack mates and dedicated handler. This leads to a safe, fun and rewarding environment.
Connectedness to nature is also a key component of who we are. We are outside every day, in all seasons. We believe that health and well-being for humans and dogs are closely tied to a connected relationship with nature. We have initiated conservation efforts on our 46 acres and have planted hundreds of trees. We compost the dog waste rather than sending it to the landfill.With our pick-up/drop-off service, we “carpool” efficiently to save client’s fuel. We hold nature with the highest regard and do our part to be environmentally conscious.​

You will not find gimmicks or stock photos here. We do not market heavily or have commercials. We want you to use our service because it is the best, not out of any sort of coercion. We do not cut corners and always look for opportunities to go above and beyond. We communicate honestly and openly. We truly want what is best for you and your dog. We are here to provide the best service with our whole heart.
